Entangled Packaging Material During Tire Wrapping
Tires are wrapped with a sheet material at high speed for packaging. The sheet material has a large static electric charge due to the separation during unwinding and friction during transfer.
The charged sheet is entangled during wrapping, resulting in disorganized packaging.

Conventional countermeasures
None
- When improper packaging is found, the tire should be wrapped again.
- Degradation of work environment.
Countermeasures with static eliminators (ionizers)
An ionizer can reduce the labor for re-wrapping and improve the work environment.

Improvements and Effects
Words from the worksite
Reduced labor for wrapping
Labor for re-wrapping: 60 hours/month
In addition, the risk of fire caused by static electricity can also be reduced.
