Pressure welding
Resistance spot welding is the typical method used for automatic welding and robot welding. In recent years, this method has been adopted for joining terminals in small electronic components thanks to the small heat input deformation. In addition to resistance spot welding, this page also introduces friction stir welding (FSW), noted for the beauty of the joined sections and commonly used for welding rail vehicles and outer panels on airplanes. Here we will look at why these methods, more ideally suited for factory automation than other methods, are more frequently used over other methods.
