Cutting Work Time by Two-Thirds: How Medisco Achieved Uniform Inspection Results
Upon seeing a demo of the BC-1000 Series, I knew I had to purchase the system immediately. The BC-1000 Series has enhanced our work efficiency, standardized inspection quality, and reduced overall fatigue. It has become an indispensable tool in our operations - reducing our work time for counting by two-thirds!
Medisco introduced KEYENCE’s High Accuracy Automated Colony Counter BC-1000 Series in an attempt to reduce their workload and achieve uniform inspection results. They’ve succeeded in reducing the work time to about 2/3 of the original time while improving inspection quality. We had the opportunity to interview two individuals from Medisco to gain insights into BC-1000 Series usage, introduction process, and user-friendliness: Representative Director Takayuki Yukumi, who was instrumental in BC-1000 Series introduction, and Hifumi Fujimoto, a clinical technologist and the primary user of the system.
