Is the Interlock Function Necessary?

This function must be used if, it is possible for a person to be present inside the machine without interrupting the light curtain beam axes and a laser scanner or other such area protection scanner is not available.

When using a safety controller, the same control is generally provided by the controller functions, not by the light curtain.
