Check for presence of electrode sheet seam tape

When the roll runs out of electrode, new electrode must be bonded to the roll using tape. Stable detection using a laser sensor can be difficult due to the tape’s glossy, reflective surface. Using the image principle, which can stably detect tapes of any material, objects with high reflectance or translucent objects can also be stably detected.
