Press fitting errors result in the pipe rising, causing defects. In general, this can be controlled by applying a load on the side inserted into the press, but quality assurance can be improved by checking the actual pieces. Using the IX Series enables detection of height differences, as well as reference detection from a height. Where two conventional sensors would be required, a single sensor now suffices.
