The center link gets cracked if the sprocket strikes the center link or there is a load in the direction of elongation. If left alone, this leads to the chain breaking, which presents the risk of causing a line stoppage. Installing the IL Series enables predictive maintenance for issues. The IL Series is the optimal method considering spot diameter, difference in minimum detectable object size and chain transport speed.
