The XT 3D camera stably obtains the information of the uneven surface within the field of view in an inline manner unaffected by the colors or materials of the target and background, allowing for separate automatic 100% inspections for contamination and pin holes in the welded part. Also, all surfaces of the target in the field of view (with a maximum size of 60.2 mm (2.37") squared) can be measured in 3D with high accuracy as a batch, making it possible to inspect the height and shapes of the terminals simultaneously. The result is a streamlined inspection process, which helps to shorten the takt time.
